This amazing footage shows the beautiful Ribbon Falls which is the only waterfall in the Grand Canyon National Park that you can reach without having to backpack or travel on the river to get there.

It is situated on the north side of the Colorado River along Bright Angel Creek where it is located on a side canyon and is regarded as a sacred site for the Zuni people, native to the Zuni River Valley, a recognised federal tribe.

They have been located in the same region for up to 4,000 years cultivating the land and using irrigation techniques to grow crops using water from the nearby river.

The footage was shared by the Grand Canyon National Park Service who said that the Zuni people regard the waterfall as the place of emergence and a sacred site, and urged people to treat it with "respect, commune with it as you would any holy place--and leave much richer in your heart for having done so".
