Over the last 30 years of his life, following a 20 year career in the United States Air Force, Rev. Randy Lee Jeffers created 700 works of Christian art, mostly in the form of canes and staffs. The only thing he liked as much as making them was giving them to those in the ministry as a gift of encouragement. Every piece that he made was unique. He spent hours in the woods looking for just the right stick and always worked with the natural shape of the wood. He never tried to make any two just alike. It was not unusual for him to work on a piece for 300 hours. No description could do them justice, see the pictures. Each one contains a bible verse or hymn and a related theme and makes a natural witnessing tool.

Randy died of pancreatic cancer in 2014. Etta, his wife of 51 years, died of pancreatic cancer in 2020. I am their youngest son, Travis.

After Dad died, Mom decided to part with most of his remaining collection. She always believed that every one of these sticks would find its home.
