At an event promoting tourism in her state, Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) subtly mocked former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK), stating, "I can see Canada from my house," a reference to Palin's 2008 quote, "You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."
