Not only does it save money, ammo, and time it makes recoil management a smaller part of your gun craft. Use dry fire to perfect the basics so that every live round you fire is better spent. Dry fire won't replace live fire and trips to the range. Instead, life fire validates what you've practiced in dry fire training.
