Their tactic is to make it difficult to perform randomized control trials, and the reason they want it that way is so that they can control the random control qualifiers. In reality, The massive financial interests are threatened by repurposed drugs because they would compete with remdesivir sales, etc. They’ve employed disinformation where science is inconvenient to corporate interest. The other problem is that historical views, they’ve always employed media like what happened with big tobacco but never at the scale we saw with the recent COVID pandemic. Most doctors weren’t understanding what was happening for the first couple months and the only answers that only make sense is that there are a lot of corrupt people out there that are controlling the narrative, I wish that weren’t the case but take a look at the censorship going on within facebook and youtube. Even if you’re lucky enough to get through peer review and get your publication published, the editor could still mysteriously whack the journal for no reason.
