Am Samstag, den 6. November, gehen Demonstranten in Leipzig auf die Straße, um gegen die Impfung und andere Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung der Verbreitung von COVID-19 zu protestieren. Auch mehrere Gegendemonstrationen sind angekündigt, und die Polizei bereitet sich auf einen Großeinsatz mit Hubschraubern und Wasserwerfern vor. Angesichts der steigenden Zahl von Infektionen hat die sächsische Landesregierung angekündigt, ab Montag, dem 8. November, die Beschränkungen zu verschärfen und nur noch geimpften oder von COVID-19 genesenen Personen den Zutritt zu Restaurants oder Großveranstaltungen zu gestatten.
