Around 4,000 people gathered in central Milan on Saturday to protest the COVID pass system put in place by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Protesters deviated from the previously authorised itinerary halfway, flooding Beatrice d’Este street and complicating the traffic. Police reportedly detained at least ten protesters. The COVID Green Pass certificate is mandatory for all workers in Italy and necessary to enter restaurants, bars, gyms, swimming pools or museums.

Alrededor de 4.000 personas se concentraron el sábado en el centro de Milán para protestar contra el sistema de pases COVID puesto en marcha por el gobierno para frenar la propagación del coronavirus. Los manifestantes se desviaron del itinerario previamente autorizado a medias, inundando la calle Beatrice d'Este y complicando el tráfico. Al parecer, la policía detuvo al menos a diez manifestantes.
