Who knew you can make garlic bread in a rice cooker! This recipe yields really soft and moist bread with just the right amount of flavor! You will not be able to stop eating them!

Garlic Cheese Bread Recipe Without Oven | Garlic Scallion & Cheese | EA RICE COOKER RECIPES

NOTES:
* 1 cup = 250 ml
* My rice cooker capacity = 1 litre or 5 cups
* Please READ Important TI at the end of each video

GREDIENTS:

Dough
• 7/8 cup (210ml/215g) WARM WATER (16 tbsp or 1/2 + 1/4+ 1/8 cups)
• 1 1/2 tsp (6g) STANT DRY YEAST
• 2 1/2 tsp (10g) SUGAR
• 1/2 tsp (3g) LT
• 1 tbsp (13g) EXA VIRG OLIVE OIL
• 2 cups (280g) EAD FLOUR (lightly packed cups)

Filling
• 1/4 cup (20g) GREEN ONION (scallion, packed cup)
• 1 tbsp (12g) FRESH MCED GARLIC (2 large cloves)
• 3 tbsp (40g/45ml) EXA VIRG OLIVE OIL
• 1/2 cup (60g) SHREDDED CHEESE (gouda, mozzarella, parmesan, white cheddar)

HOW TO KE IT:
1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together warm water, dry yeast and sugar. Then let it sit for 15 minutes
2. After 15 minutes, add olive oil salt and flour. Knead for 3-5 minutes. Batter is very thin and sticky so use strong serving spoons, spatula or kneading attachments for your device
3. Shape into a ball, cover tightly and let it rise in a warm area for 45 minutes
4. While the dough is proofing, mix the filling ingredients together in a small bowl
5. Drop the dough onto a greased flat surface; folding the dough onto itself a few times. Shape into a ball and cut into 8 pieces
6. Line a pot/pan with parchment paper before going forward. Warning... greasy fingers ahead
7. Flatten each dough piece and drop a tablespoon of filling into the center. Fold to close and shape it however you like. Place in lined pot/pan
8. Cover and let it proof for another 15 minutes. Proof in the rice cooker by letting it sit in "WARM" status
9. Bake for 1-2 bake cycles (30-60 min) and check. Rice cooker varies so baking could be more or less
10. Cool for 5 minutes and enjoy them warm.

OVEN BAKG:
Bake in pre-heated oven of 350F (180C) for 30-45 minutes. Ovens varied so check about 25 minutes. Your bread will be golden and crispy all around. So yummy!
