Part three of learning to reload for 223 Remington covers how to properly lubricate your brass before you attempt resizing/decapping, and how to trim your brass to SAMMI spec. afterwards. Unlike pistol brass, rifle brass must be trimmed to a proper length after resizing in order to create functional and safe rounds. We also cover case prep of the cartridge mouth and primer pocket (including military crimp removal) to ensure problem-free reloading.
