Why Baptismal Regeneration Is A Satanic Lie From The Pit Of Hell

The heresy of baptismal regeneration is a lie from the Devil. The basis for this damnable heresy of baptismal regeneration is ripping Acts 2:38 out of context and changing the meaning of words in that verse. The full context goes down to verse 41.

Acts 2:38-41 (KJV) - "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (39) For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (40) And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. (41) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls."

Campbellites love ripping verse 38 out of context to teach their pagan heresy of baptismal regeneration. Notice how in verse 40 Peter tells the Jews to "save yourselves from this untoward generation." Verse 41 mentions the Jews receiving "his word" (what Peter stated in verse 40) and we're baptized as a result. The baptism of verse 38 is about physical sanctification and an outward show of separation from the sinful world! Compare Acts 2:38-41 with 1 Peter 3:18-21 and Romans 6:3-6. Immersion in water never spiritually saved anyone in either Old or New Testaments (1 Pet. 3:20-21, cf. 2 Kings 5:10-14). Immersion or washing in water is associated with physical purification from sins (Lev. 15:1-13; Num. 8:5-7; Num. 19:16-22; John 2:6).
