Once again, this painting was inspired by some fantasy landscapes I’ve seen recently. This time, I wanted to include an animal and thought a polar bear would be a fun addition. Imaginative pieces like this are always a challenge since I have no specific reference to use, but I think I managed to capture the scene I was going for. Creating the bear was probably my favorite part and I really enjoyed playing around with the reflected light in his fur.
