Every Saturday afternoon, my wife and I try to play video games with our niece. This piece was inspired by some of those fantasy landscapes. I wanted to create a scene that somewhat resembled Earth, but had more dramatic rock formations. Usually, a piece like this without a specific reference would take more time, but this painting flowed smoothly and I really enjoyed creating it.
