A short video of the manatees at Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River, Florida. In this video you see the baby swimming over to mom and taking a breath of fresh air. The baby had been nursing on the mom a few minutes earlier.
The warm and crystal clear fresh water springs draw in the manatees from the cooler Gulf of Mexico in the winter.
The Florida manatees are the West Indian manatee (Trichechus manatus latirostris)
