S.O.S. California URGENT Call To Action

In discussions with City Council Representatives, here is following update:

The City Attorney, Mike Feuer, gave an update at 1:30pm on August 25 during agenda item #7. The update is that the City Attorney, Mike Feuer is still drafting the ordinance. Let me share why the vote is being delayed…BECAUSE OF YOU! They have received feedback and pushback from the public, organizations, and businesses.

The draft of the ordinance has NOT been released yet because it is NOT ready. This is why they did not vote on it yet. The timing of the vote depends on the completion of the ordinance draft.

What you need to know:

The timing of the vote has not been set. If the draft is completed, prior to next week, the City Council could vote on it as soon as next week, Tuesday, September 27, and/or Wednesday, September 28th.

Next week’s Agenda, for the Los Angeles City Council Meeting, will be released on Friday, September 24th.

If the ordinance is ready to present for a vote, here is what will happen: The L.A. City Council will have a vote. If the vote is unanimous, the ordinance will pass. If the vote is not unanimous, with any dissenting votes, the ordinance will NOT pass, yet. It will then be brought for a vote again the following week. The second reading and vote only needs a majority vote to pass.

We are aware of dissenting votes. These votes are NOT anti-vaccine, but are against any form of vaccine passports and are against showing proof of the covid shot to enter indoor spaces. The Council Members against this ordinance, understand it tramples upon businesses, citizens, and is a dangerous path forward.

Any, within the sound of our voice, understand this. The issue at hand is bigger than any political side, any race, any religion, and anyone who is vaccinated or unvaccinated. This is about setting up an infrastructure, through a law, that will ban people from indoor spaces, and require organizations, businesses, everywhere, to request proof of the shot. The city of Los Angeles and the state of California, do not understand the catastrophic consequences ahead, if this is not stopped.

The digital passport is directly connected to all mandates, and is the precursor to everything you hold dear being controlled with the flip of a switch. First, it’s your indoor spaces, travel, education, and businesses. Next, it’s your bank account, food, water, and shelter. Exemptions will NOT save you. This is EVERYONE’S issue and we must stand up now, with all that we each have, and use our voices to stop this!

1. Do not stop calling and emailing. Make your rounds and call and email the City Council Members to express your opposition to this ordinance. We will continue to update you. All contact information for city officials is above and quick one minute action here.

2. Directly call the City Attorney and give him your feedback, as a business owner, citizen of Los Angeles, and California. According to our sources, the City Attorney is taking feedback.
