The Perfect Campground • Getting Lost in a Revolutionary War Battle Ground • Washington, GA

In this episode, Tommy and I find the perfect camping spot in perfect proximity to visit the historical Kettle Creek Revolutionary War Battlefield. We had a fantastic stay at Skull Shoals Campground and can't thank its owners/managers enough. It was a 10/10 camping experience and we can't wait to go back! Whether you're looking for a place to camp or a place to host a music festival or any festival at all, this is THE place!!!
There's no official website that we could find, but they do have a Facebook page and response time to messages is on point.
Kettle Creek was a stunning hiking venue with so much history. One of the smaller battles of the American Revolution, it played a key role in the success of this country's separation from Britain. We really enjoyed the trails and the monuments, even though we did wander around aimlessly lost for a few hours. It's totally worth a visit.
Washington deserves it's own video, to be honest, but there wasn't enough time to give this adorable little town the spotlight it deserves. Hopefully, we'll make it back that way and spend more time there.
