Schools of fish rise to surface as river swells during flood in Vietnam

Schools of loach fish rose to the surface of a swollen river impacted by floods in Hai Duong, Vietnam.

Footage from October 25 shows the fish gathering at the edge of the river allowing passersby to easily pick them up with their bare hands.

According to locals, the fish lives on the riverbed and as the weather changes they rise to the surface to seek shelter.

After the floods passed, the fish soon returned back to the bottom of the river.
