Sarah St Onge: The Story of a Mother Fighting for the Life of Her Daughter

Imagine for a moment if you would that you found your daughter to be gravely ill and having to rush her to the hospital. Upon arrival you are told by the very people meant to help you that there is no sense in trying to save your daughter. Rather, that it is better that they kill her than waste the resources and manpower to save her life though it had been done before. Sarah doesn't have to imagine this, this was her life and the life of her daughter. What sort of nation have we become to lose our humanity in the distractions of prolonging it. That we would sacrifice the lives of those most innocent in the name of self preservation and comfortability. Sarah chose to save the one she loved, but those in the medical field had other plans. To think, we call ourselves a civilized society.
