VA Lt. Gov.-Elect Winsome Sears Celebrates Victory: “What You Are Looking at Is the American Dream”

Winsome Sears, the first woman and the first woman of color elected to be Virginia’s lieutenant governor, introduced her family during her victory speech following Tuesday’s election and told the crowd, “What you are looking at is the American dream.”
