(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love, & understanding

I’m releasing a noise cover of my least favorite song from one of my favorite all time albums. Elvis Costello and the Attractions album “Armed Forces”. The absolute insane partisanship and media induced divide has created a nazi like culture where informing yourself too much about public policy will outcast you as a pariah. Ignorant sloganeering and braindead tribalism hasn’t just become the norm, but how you are judged if you can participate in society or not in certain circles, even cities (NYC). I was raised in a lower class culture where you were forced to hide your intelligence as to not insult the status quo and become attacked for being yourself. I refuse to live in fear and dishonesty for i have lived that way once before and WILL NEVER RETURN to such disheartening ignorance. I will not bow to those who expect me to repete false corporate talking points because it appeases the inscure fear they hold in thier hearts.
