One year after the events of Dead Men Tell No Tales, Jack is searching for the treasure of Atlantis but his quest is interrupted when he discovers that Davy Jones, resurrected by the Dutchman after the destruction of the Trident as the ship must have a captain, is searching for revenge. So Jack decides to recruit Will and Elizabeth like the old times to help him to defeat and putting an end to its reign of terror on the Seven Seas once again but this time forever. During the adventure a crafty outlaw named Bertha, a pirate named John Benbow helps them in their adventure.
