Unions propose sales tax hike to fund San Diego road improvements

Labor, business, and environmental groups joined forces to lend support, aiming to place a half-cent sales tax hike on the November 2022 ballot. The robust transportation plan will need a number of various revenue sources but a sales tax hike requires voter approval.
