Timestamp below. A friend of ours had thought we would like #FortFisher and so we decided to check it out. On the way, we decided to make a quick stop at #BattleshipNC. The #battleship was amazing and we saw our first wild #alligator. Our first introduction to the fort was a #pelican diving into the water! It was interesting to see an #earthen fort versus what most think of when a #fort is mentioned. Ola was disappointed she couldn't climb on the #cannon :) Lastly, we stopped at the site of a former #swingbridge.
