On this episode Dave and Melina interview Scott Schroeder, of Scott Schroeder Photography, Marine, husband, father, and risk taker. In part 1 of a 4 part vignette series Dave is fresh out of eye surgery as Scott is introduced. Melina and Scott discuss their long friendship and how they were reunited after 30+ years where he asked her to co-host with him on his established podcast, “Here’s A Thing”. This decision eventually lead Dave and Melina to create “Give It a Go!”.

Melina Zettlemoyer has 20+ years experience in corporate and medical recruiting. Dave Black is an IT professional with 20+ years experience. He lived in Beijing China for 4+ years, and is an avid traveler, motorcyclist, and car guy. He co-founded the mobile app company and popular YouTube channel VINWiki. In 2013, Dave co-drove and set the Cannonball Record driving from NY to LA in 28:50, and in 2021, he and a friend set the Bandit Run record driving from Atlanta to Texarkana and back under 13:42. He is currently working towards racing the Dakar Rally on a motorcycle and has been comprehensively training, dieting, and exercising to complete the Dakar in 2024.
