This slow motion clip was taken with my iPhone 7s+ at 240 fps (720 dpi). I slowed that speed down to an equivalent 1000 fps to illustrate that there are times when you think you recorded a daylight strike at the normal 24 fps only to discover that the lightning strike was faster than even one frame.

In this sequence, there were at least 7 CG strikes in less than 1/24 of a second. The dragon fly at the top shows how slow this capture was. The first multi-branch strike was a sight to behold and would have never been seen even with the eye had it not been for super slow motion.
