B Encouraged: Echoing God's Heart to Call Forth New Realities (11/01/2021)

In 1 Samuel we meet Hannah - a woman whose yearnings usher the call of God into reality. At a time of chaos and needed shift, she carries a cry of the heart and a determination of spirit that echoes God's own call for a righteous person, The Prophet - a necessary voice in the coming, highly empowered, leadership of Kings. The Prophet spoke Truth to Power as God spoke Truth to them, such that the violence of self-serving power was seen for whose it was and God's voice would be heard, heeded or not.
