This time I'm freeze drying a #10 can of tomato puree and then rehydrating a sample.
This is part of our Freeze Drying The Alphabet from A to Z series.

Here is the video for the pan dividers - https://youtu.be/3KLblPCTpHk
You can download pan dividers from Thingiverse and print them:

We got the pans that fit the medium freeze dryer at the local Dollar Store. They were labeled 8-by-8 inches, but are actually 7″-by-7" at the bottom which works out well; the freeze dry trays we have are 7″-by-17 1/4". By putting a 1/2" wide divider in the middle of the pan I end up with two 7″-by-3 1/4" pieces. I can then use two 7″-by-7" and one of the 3 1/4" pieces the fill the pan perfectly.

The pans for the large freeze dryer are the Mainstays Non-stick 9" X 9" X 2" Square Cake Pan from Walmart. I don't know if the dividers will fit any other pans. By using two dividers in one pans and dividing it into thirds, the block should fit the large tray along with 2 full pan blocks.
I made the divider for the larger pans in two parts to make it less likely to lift off of the print-bed.
It also has lines to act as measurement filling guides.

Freeze dried food will stay fresh for many years and be ready and waiting when you need it.
