British pre-decimal coins, some great coins to add to your collection. Today it is the florin and the half crown, from Queen Victoria to 1970. These coins can be found almost everywhere in the world, just like the old British Empire! The larger silver denominations are often out of a young collectors' budget, but a few can be had at affordable prices. I am from Canada, live in Japan, and collect coins from everywhere. I love the immense variety of old British coins that can be had at a reasonable price.
