Revelation Lesson-23: The Kingdom is Here! - Part I

This is Lesson-23 in the series “Come Lord Jesus!” from the book of Revelation.

The title for this lesson is: The Kingdom is Here! - Part I.

Our focus passage is Revelation 11:1-6.

How would you define “the kingdom of God” or the “kingdom of heaven”?
 
It’s an extremely important question. You see, as believers we live in this tension of “already but not yet” when it comes to the kingdom of God or the kingdom of heaven.
 
Our next lesson will help us to answer this question as we begin our study of Rev. 11.

In this chapter we are going to see the second seven judgment cycle come to an end with the sound of the seventh trumpet.
 
This will usher the arrival of Christ’s kingdom and initiate the 3rd and last cycle of sevens that will finalize God’s judgment on this earth.
 
We will also be introduced to some very important characters in the end times drama. We will meet two strong witnesses for the Lord as well as the ultimate opposition figure in eschatology.
