Funny And Cute Monkeys
Monkeys, in general, are about 200 species of extinct monkeys, with the exception of lemurs, tarsiers, and lorises. The presence of a tail (even a small nub), as well as their small chest and other skeletal features, distinguishes monkeys from monkeys. Most monkeys have a short, flat face without the sharpness of a microphone, though chimpanzees and mandrills are markedly different. Many species live in tropical forests, where all four of them migrate. All the tropical areas of Central and South America are busy during the day, roaming in groups looking for vegetation, birds' eggs, small animals, and edible insects. Monkeys are able to stay upright, and, as a result, their hands are free to perform many deceptive tasks. With the exception of a few forms in the Old World, monkeys are very common arboreal, jumping from limb to limb in their walk among the trees. Both hands and feet are used for holding and usually have five numbers, thumb and big toe different from each other. Normally, the digits have flat nails, but the marmoset has nails on all digits except the big toe. On the ground, the monkeys walk all the way under the foot and touch the ground but the palm of the hand is raised. They almost never walk on two legs (bipedally) and can only direct for a short time, if so.
Monkeys have a large brain and are known for their curiosity and ingenuity. Brain development, combined with the release of hands and a well-developed vision, allows them to have a greater latitude of activity. Many are able to solve complex problems and learn from experience, but they do not reach the levels of understanding in large monkeys. Some, especially capuchins (a type of Cebus), automatically use objects such as tools (e.g., stones to crack nuts). Others, like chimpanzees, easily learn to use chopsticks for food. However, in stark contrast with monkeys (gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans), most monkeys do not seem to be able to learn from all of your experiences - more or less people should learn new behaviors. A notable exception is the Japanese macaque (Macaca fuscata). In field experiments, these monkeys were introduced to fresh foods such as sweet potatoes and paper-wrapped sweets. Once a few people had solved the problems of finding new food, their new methods gradually spread to all the soldiers. These experiments have contributed to the redefining of cultural behavior.
