Celia Stevens was born in St. Louis Missouri. She attended Rhema Bible training center in Tulsa and then moved to South Africa where she lived for 15 years. While there she became longtime family friends with the Horak family.

After returning to America, Celia moved to Redding California, where she now lives, and attended Bethel school of supernatural ministry for three years.
