A strong cold front is moving through the Midwest currently and it will put an end to the very nice and seasonally mild day we had. Along and ahead of the front, cloudy skies will build in from the west. Winds should remain rather light around 5-10 mph out of the northwest as temperatures fall into the upper 30s and lower 40s. The cold front should move through sometime in the early morning hours. There may be a stray rain shower or two that accompanies it, but that should be short lived as some dry air builds in quickly behind it. Winds will begin to pick up out of the northwest around 10-20 mph with gusts approaching 25 mph at times. Temperatures will climb into the upper 40s and lower 50s. Skies should turn mostly sunny the the afternoon or early evening for those planning to do trick or treating. We will cool off next week with morning lows in the mid 20s to the lower 30s and highs in the lower to mid 40s.
