Not a week goes by without highly credentialed scientists, doctors and academics being silenced. The suppressing - in its most benign form - is done through arbitrary removal of social media accounts (Twitter, YouTube and others), however it has also been far more pernicious through orchestrated smear campaigns by sometimes anonymous sources.
