The Chosen: Why Many are Called but Few are Chosen. The Chosen is a series that tries to humanize Christ and his Apostles and followers through the stories of the New Testament. The title of the series fits perfectly with the character and arc of Nicodemus in the first season. I hope that if I lived in Christ’s day, that I would have accepted his invitation, regardless of the cost. But the only way to know if I would is to follow Christ’s teachings, commandments, and invitations in my everyday life. That is why studying and pondering on Christ’s words are so important, as that is one of the surest ways to recognize Christ’s invitations, as well as have the faith needed to act. I present and recommend this show for this precise reason, as it has deepened my appreciation for and understanding of Christ and His teachings. I hope it can increase your faith as well, and help us all be ready as the Good Shepard calls us to follow Him.
