I never thought I deserved to be abused but after doing the work to peel back all of the layers, revealed a deep belief that questioned “do I deserved to be abused” to pay for my sins? A narcissist believes you deserve to be abused otherwise they wouldn’t do it. I had a belief that I didn’t think I deserved to be treated with respect and kindness after and for what I’d done.
