BURNWOOD BUSHCRAFT 4.8 - Fire It Up Friday (Special Edition)

We are at the basecamp where I practice #bushcraft and camp. Today we crank up the heat in this special #fireitupfriday. I process a little bit of #fatwood from a pine log that I found a while back and it is loaded with risen and sticky goodness. This is the largest amount of fatwood that I have ever found. I've had it for quite a while and I hope it lasts for years.

I absolutely love this shelter at this little camp. It is where I started my journey into learning more about the outdoors and bushcraft. The camp evolved over the years with a renovation making it even more special. It will be a sad day when I can no longer come back here. We are moving on to a new base camp that is yet to exist. In the coming weeks you will see a new beginning.
