Thinking aloud about the way that Jesus' story of a hated Samaritan helping a left-nearly-for-dead Jewish gentleman is a story that is meant to shape our character as believers. Jesus' twists things up on a man not really looking for answers - He challenges him, like us, to be moved deeply by the needs we encounter in the midst of everyday life.
