Hunderte von Demonstranten versammelten sich am Donnerstag in Madrid gegen den Anstieg der Strompreise.

Zu der Demonstration gegen die steigenden Stromkosten hatten Dutzende von Organisationen wie Greenpeace, Friday's for Future und die Kommunistische Partei aufgerufen.

Die Demonstration fand an dem Tag statt, an dem die Inflationsdaten in Spanien veröffentlicht wurden, die Berichten zufolge mit 5,5 % die höchste Inflation seit 29 Jahren erreichten.

Seit mehreren Monaten gibt es in Spanien drastische Erhöhungen der Strompreise.

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Madrid on Thursday against the rise in electricity prices.

The demonstration against rising power costs had been called by dozens of organisations, such as Greenpeace, Friday's for Future and the Communist Party.

The demonstration took place on the day the inflation data was unveiled in Spain, with reportedly reached 5.5%, the highest inflation recorded in 29 years.

For several months in Spain there have been drastic increases in electricity prices.

Cientos de manifestantes se concentraron el jueves en Madrid contra la subida del precio de la electricidad.

La manifestación contra el aumento del coste de la electricidad había sido convocada por decenas de organizaciones, como Greenpeace, Viernes por el Futuro y el Partido Comunista.

La manifestación tuvo lugar el día en que se dieron a conocer los datos de la inflación en España, que al parecer alcanzó el 5,5%, la mayor inflación registrada en 29 años.

Desde hace varios meses en España se están produciendo drásticas subidas de los precios de la electricidad.
