Friday the 13th was just released for the Switch on August 13 after being released on other platforms about two years ago. I first noticed this game when I saw Dashie upload some footage, and I thought it looked fun (not to mention hilarious), so I decided that if the game ever released on Switch I would pick up a copy.

I'm actually a bit of a Friday the 13th fan since I've seen most of the movies. When I was a teenager I started renting/watching a bunch of horror movies from '80s, which of course included this series.

I've been playing this game pretty much every day since it was released, but I was waiting to record a really good match before I posted any footage. Yesterday I finally recorded something worthwhile, so here it is.

I managed to get a lot done in this match including radioing Tommy Jarvis, repairing the power, repairing the car, finding the keys, and escaping with Keet, who died initially and then came back as Tommy. I think Keet and I were the only players to escape, so that made things interesting. After we escaped the player using Jason screwed around a bit with the last counselor before disconnecting, so I edited out that part.

This game has tons of glitches that need to be patched, including a glitch that prevents you from searching for a lobby if you get an error while trying to join a friend's lobby. Every time this occurs you have to reset the software, which is ridiculous and annoying. Also, approximately half of the time, you don't even get the intro kill animation. Hopefully this stuff gets fixed, but I'm not holding my breath.

Recorded with the Elgato Game Capture HD60 and the Switch's HDMI cable at native 1080p resolution. I'm using a Pro Controller.
