"Die Beschäftigten der Stadt New York, die Menschen, die diese Stadt leiten, die Menschen, die diese Stadt in Bewegung halten, die Zahnräder dieser Stadt, sie sind endlich draußen. Endlich sind wir draußen, weil sie das nicht mehr ertragen, das ist Wahnsinn", sagte Scott Lobaido, ein Impfgegner.

Ungeimpfte Angestellte werden außerdem ohne Bezahlung beurlaubt, bis sie ihrem Vorgesetzten einen Nachweis über die Impfung vorlegen.

Hundreds of first responders gathered in front of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's residence on Thursday to protest against the city's new vaccine mandates.

Protesters, including many police officers, firefighters, and other first responders, held anti-vaccine signs, opposing the recent mandate announced by the Mayor that all public workers in New York City will be required to get the vaccine and show proof at the workplace.

"New York City workers, the people that run this city, the people that make this city move, the gears of this city and they are out finally. Finally we are out, because they we not taking this anymore, this is insanity," said Scott Lobaido, an anti-vaccine protester.

Unvaccinated employees will also be placed on leave without pay until they show proof of vaccination to their supervisor.

Cientos de socorristas se reunieron el jueves frente a la residencia del alcalde de Nueva York, Bill de Blasio, para protestar contra el nuevo mandato de vacunación de la ciudad.

Los manifestantes, entre los que se encontraban muchos agentes de policía, bomberos y otros equipos de primera respuesta, portaban pancartas contra las vacunas, oponiéndose al reciente mandato anunciado por el alcalde de que todos los trabajadores públicos de la ciudad de Nueva York deberán vacunarse y mostrar una prueba en el lugar de trabajo.

Los empleados no vacunados también estarán de baja sin sueldo hasta que muestren una prueba de vacunación a su supervisor.
