In an interview with John Wenzel, Sir John Rupert 'Jock' Colville, CB, CVO paints an intimate portrait of his life at the very heart of the U. K. government during the beginning of the Second World War, including life inside Number 10 and the Cabinet War Rooms.

Sir Jock describes his experiences working directly under the Prime Ministers: Neville Chamberlain, Winston Churchill and Clement Attlee, respectively, and outlines the many similarities and differences between the three men.

Sir Jock is remembered by many for his published diaries as well as his recurring contribution as an interviewee for the seminal Thames T. V. documentary series: 'The World at War'.
