Real estate in Cairo is incredibly cheap and there are multiple catalysts for growth. It's even possible to buy apartments for less than $500 per m2 with a government guarantee (!)
10 year installment plans in local currency are also available to non-residents.
The opportunities I saw on the ground in Egypt were very compelling. I can't say I was expecting it.
