Does it have to be one or the other?

Of course not.

Like so many other things we’re seeing today, though we’ve got division based on irrational thinking.

It’s not just sorcery through carefully crafted language, or messages conveying only half truths, but a long-term plan to create a need, then offer a solution then which is the product or service 'they' have developed to sell. The method isn’t just about directing a group of people on ‘what to think’ but includes ‘how to think’ technologies using algorithms and combining various methods of psychological, intellectual, and physical strategies.

John 10:10 tells us that the thief has one purpose: to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came to show us the way, the truth and the life lived in relationship with our Father in Heaven, His creation, which obviously includes each other.

In Christ, we have freedom.

In freedom, we have security.

Adam and Eve only knew good, even though evil existed. The deception that left them exposed to the elements of the world, was the knowledge of good and evil.

If you seek first the goodness of the Kingdom of God, sooner or later, when you see and hear evil you’ll immediately open your eyes and ears to see the good, because God’s ways are higher than the world’s ways. He is the one who created the Heavens and the earth and all of it was good. He is the one who is God over all creation, who is before all and in all. He is the one who knows no bounds, neither, physical, spiritual, or anything that exists in time and space.

Deception is lying. If the god of the world has only one purpose – to destroy God’s creation in order that he may ‘be like god’, then we have one purpose also: to walk in the freedom demonstrated and taught, and lived in the life of Christ who died so we could truly live – free AND safe in the arms of the all loving, almighty, all knowing God of all creation!
