Rez Infinite Review - Rhythm Game Railshooter OR Acid Trip Laser Show?

Rez Infinite is a blend of a rhythm game, a railshooter, and a musical laser show as seen through an intense acid trip. The game combines several genre's which I have zero taste for, bright flashing lights, intense colors, thumping bass and techno pop soundtracks, big screen filling bosses, and a nonsensical barely-there backstory about an AI that's kinda tired of it all. It's not even close to a game I would normally consider playing, but here we are. I played the PS4 version and truth be told I really wish I had VR for this one.
