In this video the support exercises are great for two reasons;1️⃣ One of the biggest reasons I like grips is that you really need to think about all aspects of the exercise. You have to cement the relationship in your body and mind! You can't “do the moves”, your mind must be as present as your muscles tense.
2️⃣ It's safer and more controlled as you demonstrate strength in the final range and your body's ability to “brake”. With a grip, you can't throw weight around or whip through the set. You eliminate one of the biggest scams in resistance training...momentum.
