Fishing The Suburbs: Hurt-Knee Fishing At Echo Lake

Last week I took a little tumble and bruised the soft tissue around my right knee.
I have to fish before the knee is ready to go wander the mountain rivers, so I chose a lake close to home for fishing fun and entertainment.
Suburban fishing, fishing where there are more people around, warrants some specific considerations, especially for the ladies:
1. Carry a weapon, be CCW legal.
2. Stay situationally aware--vagrants congregate near transportation hubs and big box construction stores (Home Depot) who hire day laborers.
3. Never go inside a public bathroom if you're alone, especially not a porta-John. It's both unsafe and disgusting.

An injury doesn't have to keep you away from The Great Outdoors. Sometimes the adventure is a little closer to home.
