Assange UPDATE: US makes 'promises' in hope of securing extradition

Legal documents have shown that if the US appeal to extradite Julian Assange is successful, Washington has provided assurances that:

▪️Assange will be given medical aid upon extradition and arrest in US
▪️He will be allowed to carry any US-imposed sentence in Australia

It's been argued in the court that neither of these points are "fresh evidence" to the case.

Assange had been scheduled to appear via video link, but was excused as he didn’t feel well enough to do so - with fears continuing to mount over the whistleblower's health in Belmarsh prison.

Watch as fiancée Stella Moris calls the US attempt to extradite Assange a distortion of expert testimony.
