So this is a grabby stick and this is a broken grabby stick

ya see in side here is a little plastic peace that when you pull the handle back it pulls on a wire that goes to the jaws to open and close them

well some how this peace has broken in half coursing the stick to be completely unusable ..\
now i am sure almost everyone is saying big deal chuck it and buy a new one ..

well I hate how this society is so disposable now days.. it brakes just chuck it …

well I try and do my tiny bit by making things last as long as I can so I am not wasting nature re sauces buying stuff just to chuck in the land fill to stay there for the next 300,000 years ..

so anyone with a 3d printer could prob making something like this buy I am a carpenter and a machinist , fabricator all round hell sexy Aussie bloke so I am going to see if I can rip one up on the lathe… I have some Aluminium round stock the I score from out of a bin and were going to have a go with that

and yes this thing is a wonky as a donkey after it ate that giant tomato plant that was growing behind the old cow bails …
prob why it was in the bin …
but that's OK because it should centre up as were getting it down top the right size
