Jade vine, the exotic plant of the Philippines

The Philippines Jade Vine has some of the most extraordinary flowers of any plant. Enormous, meter-long spikes of brilliant turquoise blooms hang from the scrambling stems usually in April or May.
In the wild these attract tropical bats which carry pollen from one plant to the next.
