National Anthem of the USA - The Star-Spangled Banner (Instrumental)
The lyrics come from the "Defence of Fort M'Henry", a poem written in 1814, by 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet Francis Scott Key after witnessing Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812.
United States National Anthem / Himno Nacional de los Estados Unidos de América / Hymne National des États-Unis d'Amérique / Nationalhymne der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika /
Oh say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave?
