I have had a lot of conversations with people about worry and prayer lately. And fitting was today's reading from the book "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young. I think a lot of people are really affected by the current social state and just where things are, and what is their place in the world. I have had a lot of people recently asking why they feel anxious, frustrated, or depressed. And I think it's because of our focus.

So today we talk about eliminating some of our worry through prayer.

I'll be sharing in today's episode the following verses:

✞ Luke 12:22-26
22 'Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. 23 For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing. 24 Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! 25 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 26 And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things?'

✞ Deuteronomy 31:6
'So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”'

✞ 2 Corinthians 10:5
'We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. '
